M3 Max update issuesHey! Can anyone tell me when the stable release of flyme OS 6 for M3 max will be available? There are news about launching beta testing of the OS under Android 7 but the official version of the 6 OS is not there yet. I'm my opinion such update uncertainties in 2017 are just ridiculous.
So, any guesses on when should the official update be released are highly appreciated.

smartphonecore3 replied at 2018-09-13 23:55 Thanks! I've checked out that thread, it didn't recommend anything you hadn't already. It seems to assume that the only solution for the Firmware corrupt message is to re-download the file and try again ... which I have now done dozens of times.

smartphonecore3 replied at 2018-09-13 19:01 Power & Volume up gives me the Firmware upgrade window (with start and restart buttons). Power & Volume down gives me the Meizu logo with very, very small "Fastload..." at the bottom - but can't do anything from there except reboot.

Hello!
Try this: turn off your phone, press at same time power and volume up or down button for some time. See what happens and read carefully what is next step.

smartphonecore3 replied at 2018-09-13 16:16 Hey! That's where I got the ones I've tried... specifically http://dl-res.flymeos.com/Firmware/Flyme/MAX/6.3.0.0/intl/20180420102358/a073e974/update.zip Still not getting anywhere though! The phone continually tells me that the firmware is corrupt. I don't see how it can be the firmware that I've downloaded, so it must be the phone, and I've taken it back to factory as best I can, but it does seem to stay Rooted, so it's obviously not real "Factory". More suggestions please!

smartphonecore3 replied at 2018-09-06 05:21 I've tried that, and still get the "firmware corrupt" message. When the device restarted, I did get a "Root access" request message though, is that normal? I've been using my home internet connection, which is fast (enough) and stable, but I've just downloaded the zip files over my 4G connection just in case, but (obviously) had the same result. CJ

Hello!
I would take a factory reset again with option to erase all data, connect device with Meizu account and install Google play services and than install Firmware 6.3. What about your Internet connection on your device, is it fast and stable enough to download Update package?

smartphonecore3 replied at 2018-08-30 10:28 I can't find anything on this forum about using a flash tool for an M3 Max (it might be just me). Do you know if there is a flash tool that will work on a Meizu - specifically my M3 Max? I've found some, but they warn against using them on Meizu phones.
