MEIZU must change from MTK to othersAll MEIZU devices face the problem with the CPU overheating. Other processors do not overheat so easy, fast and often. Only MediaTek processors do so.
I think that MEIZU must change from MTK processors to others (e.g. Kirin CPUs which are used in Huawei phones) for 2 reasons. The 1st is that MEIZU devices won't face the problem of overheating. The 2nd is that they will have the proper drivers for upgrading Flyme's Android base, because MTK doesn't have the proper drivers for heavily modified ROMs like Flyme.

brian_rodrigues create on 2017-04-22 00:22 Yup, lots of people are there who like this phone design and software interface but they doesn't want to try it because of mediatek. Mediatek is known as crap to them thus they avoid it and all mediatek devices too. Snapdragon or exynos are known for their best usability but mediatek is known for their poor processing, incapable of rendering games, battery suckers etc. thus they avoid mediatek.

If Meizu launches a phone powered by Snapdragon then will you buy it...

yeah really, this good meizu should come into market using qualcomm or samsung exynos chipset. mediatek is not good comparing to these chipset. Thus meizu should consider this change.
