Meizu m2 is a 2015 model, and only newer devices will be getting VoLTE update cause there are too many complications involved. At present developers are working to keep the firmware as stable as possible.

Meizu can implement a VoLTE simulation for m2, m2 note and m1 note by patching that using a software patch. May be they are already trying with that and may be users like us will get in the coming update. But one thing is sure it will cost lots of battery as it will be a software simulation instead of native VoLTE and meizu doesn't like anything cost battery thus I dont think they will implement it.

Now a slight upgraded chip mt6737 launched just a 10 months ago. Read the clear mention of native VoLTE. So any android firmware will recognize its VoLTE feature out of the box. No need to implement any software simulation in the firmware.

Let me post a pic of mediatek site page of mt6735. There is no mention of VoLTE.

HemRoy create on 2017-04-15 18:45 mt6735 does support volte. If you don't believe me check the model in gionee f103 ,huwaei honor 5.all running same chipset have volte. It's up-to the flyme developers to add the feature.

use jio voice app for calling. in m2 volte is not possible as the chipset doesn't support it.
