Meizu PRO 6 will gonna be powered by 10-Core Helio X25 SoC Edited by Aakash006sharma at 2016-03-16 16:49
MEIZU PRO 6 - Upcoming Flagship smartphone MediaTek officially introduced its Deca-Core Helio X20 processor at an event in China. Meizu CEO, Yongxiang BAI and MediaTek Vice President & Co-COO, Jeffrey Ju confirmed that the upcoming flagship Meizu PRO 6 smartphone will be exclusively powered by a Deca-Core Helio X25 processor. No Samsung Exynos 8870 SoC. The Helio X25 will use similar architecture as the Helio X20 that includes 4 power efficient ARM Cortex A53 cores, another 4 Cortex A53 cores and 2 Cortex A72 performance cores, but the chip will be clocked at higher speeds of up to 2.5GHz and the Mali-T880MP4 GPU clock speed will also be increased up to 850MHz. Even though the clock speeds are higher, it will consume the same amount of power as the X20 The Helio X25 will be exclusive to Meizu PRO 6 for few months, but the official launch date of the smartphone is yet to be announced.

Seems unlikely for pro6 maybe just for pro6 mini? As 6gb rom is impossible with helio x25. Helio x25 is just a tweaked version of helio x20 in terms of clocking speed of CPU and GPU so,it should not support more than 4gb rom. Helio x25 has the same structure as x20 so, supporting 6gb seems unlikely or impossible for it. Either 6gb rom for pro6 is not right or SOC is exynos Hope SoC of pro6 not being the MTK one because, helio x25 is not a good replacement for samsung exynos as it's more of a high mid range phone CPU than flagship device CPU. Exynos 8890 is even faster than SD820 and consume less battery in latest comparison between exynos and SD820 GS7 compressaionIf MTK cpu is corect for pro6 it's a real downgrade over pro5 and will diffenetly sells much less than pro5.
