Meizu boss Li Nan confirms Pro 6 won't have a 2K display, No Exynos 8890... Edited by brian_rodrigues at 2016-03-15 16:55
Meizu boss Li Nan has been chatting with a fan today about the Meizu Pro 6 leading to the confirmation that it will not have 2K display among other interesting details.
Meizu’s Li Nan took time to chat with fans today about the upcoming Meizu Pro 6 and in the process revealed some interesting details about the flagship phone.
First up Li Nan stated that the Meizu Pro 6 will not use a 2K display. Meizu fans will remember that the only time the company used a 2K display was in the Meizu MX4 Pro (which was dropped very early in its lifecycle). Li Nan said the reason for not using the higher res panel on their new phone is due to power consumption. Also in the discussion the company boss stated that the Meizu Pro 6 will not have a Samsung Exynos 8890 as the chipset does not offer full network support. So we know that the Meizu Pro 6 will be designed to support all of China’s mobile carriers, but what chipset could it use? A Snapdragon 820 perhaps?
After those details what are we left with? Well so far it only seems that a pressure sensitive display has been confirmed for the Meizu Pro 6, the phone may also ship with Flyme based on Android 6.0 and there is a chance it could make use of 6GB RAM. Source : Gizchina
