Simple tips to protect smartphone screenAfter being a longtime smartphoen user I have come accross moments where my beloved smartphone screen got scratches and I believe every body else has encountered such a unfortunate moment. There are few simple precautions with which we can avoid such situations -
Don’t use everything to use the screen Except your fingers or certified digital pen, don’t use any other stuff to manipulate your touch screen. Clean carefully Try to use the cloth that is used for cleaning specs. Otherwise you can use any microfiber soft cloth. For cleaning use the simple method, use your breathe on the screen for moisture and wipe it off with the cloth. It does the best without getting any water inside the gadget. Use screen protector Screen protector will help you secure your display panel from any drops, scratches-inside-a-bag and other such scenarios. Use flipcover A scratch on the screen can not only drive you crazy, but it can also make it difficult to use your device. A good case protects your device from scratches, liquid spills, the heat of the sun, airborne dust, and those unfortunate moments when you put your smartphone in the same pocket as your keys. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight Sunlight doesn’t damage your smartphone in an instance; however, it is wise to not expose your smartphone or tablet to direct sunlight for long as it would damage the display panel. Try not to get shocked Electrostatic discharges, meaning a sudden surge of electricity between two connected electrical devices, could ultimately cause the touchscreen to malfunction. This might happen when your smartphone is placed near an object isolated to the ground that conducts electricity. Use auto screen lock option Another tip to help you protect touch screen panel is not leave it idle for extended periods. When you leave your gadget on without using it, it may lead to screen burn-in. Try to set a lock screen timeout to turn the device off after a certain few specified minutes of being idle. Protect your phone Protect your device when carrying it by putting it in a sleeve, padded bag, or a hard plastic case. This will protect your phone when it falls out of your shirt pocket. Avoid putting larger, heavier objects in places where they can fall or somehow end up on top of your device. Screen damage caused by heavy objects is why it’s never a good idea to put your phone in your back pocket. If you are traveling with your device, carry it on the plane with you to avoid it being smashed or damaged in your luggage. Don’t phone on the bed with you when you sleep. If you do, when it falls off the bed (and it will), or if you step on it when you wake up, you’re likely to damage the screen. If you guys have other suggestion please add in the comments.

Frankly speaking I don't use any flip cover or back cover. Most of the people who believe in style won't. But these precautions are for all the smartphone users who use cheap phones which is common here in India. You must admit that most of the cheap phone available here need screen protector and flip cover to sustain small small incidents also.

ark45 replied at 2016-02-26 18:29 Bro, if you continuously expose your phone to direct sunlight, the temp. may get very hot and some internal parts may get damage. So touchscreen can also face high temp. And the panel may get damaged!
