MorbidGod replied at 2017-04-05 05:06 There are some Meizu phones that got their bootloaders unlocked thanks to some exploits, so they got lucky and they could develop TWRP and custom roms for those phones

I've seen quite a few Meizu's running custom OS's and Custom recoveries like TWRP.
You don't even need to search a lot, XDA is enough for that. So, in the middle of all this winning and Flyme bashing rollercoaster, one question pops out: - Why can some users flash their Meizu's and others don't? I haven't went for it yet, because Flyme 6 works pretty well, contradictory to all this misinformative thread, full of false claims like, bugs, battery drain, and the most funniest: "buggy clone of iOS."

I'm sorry, but can I ask some question? What's the reason of this thread creation, if Meizu devices DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST OFFICIAL WAY to unlock the Bootloader? And why after so many years Meizu didn't give officially an ability to unlock/relock the bootloader? For the security sake? Or just because to keep Phone Finder working, as it's intended, in Flyme ROM? (However, Phone Finder is not available yet for global users) Not a reason. Meizu can give a choice for users. A choice, where user can choose between staying on a secured Flyme (For those, who prefer stock) and unlocking the bootloader with the agreement, that Meizu won't be responsible for any data/software/hardware damage, that can be provoked by unsafe or careless user's actions. Just in case: Bhavis, I don't blame you in this post, because you are just an administrator of this forum, not the head of Flyme development. I only don't like the Meizu's behaviour on the smartphone market.

I don't know what's the purpose of this topic when it's obvious that Meizu will never unlock the bootloader for us
I think it's time to change Goodbye Meizu

Good luck with compatibility with Lolipop. Today I got message my phone isn't compatible with Super Mario run (it's still in development, you can preregister for release).

This post has no reason Meizu wont unlock their bootloader's and will continue to make bugyiest ios clone.Plese meizu you can still keep your bootloader locked just give us 2nd room ,,vanila android'' .

I have tried CM 14 and MIUI 8 for M2, frankly speaking I desperately needed the change, but being unofficial roms there were lot of crashes. That's when I've realized every device got its own beautifully optimized rom from the manufacturer. Fly me is a bit better of them all.
