Model M3S: limited space for appsHello all,
I have 2 questions for you. 1) I try to install new app to the internal space, but the phone tells me I need more space, for example 30 MB, but the free space in the phone seems 600 MB or something similar. I don't understand: the space for apps has a separate space in the internal memory? It is an issue now, because I cannot install new apps. 2) Using Disk Usage app, I noticed a huge space occupied like in the image. Do you know which app is related to? Do you think I can delete it? User5201678904 replied at 2017-02-05 15:24 This is related to the YunOS Do not attempt to delete it in anyway, you may brick your device. As the m3s is based on YunOS in China there maybe some parts of it remaining in the global versions. To get more space i suggest using a memory card and moving all the media to it. | |

Yes, I do it regularly, but the gained space is not that much, more or less 100 MB.
Do you think I can delete the folder /fnyun? I cannot understand which app uses it, it seems more an image partition....but of what? That space is 3 GB, and I would need to free it up. Thanks if you can help me. | |

Go to settings - About phone - Storage, check your storage usage; you can click Clean Junk in Storage to clean files which you don't need.
