Doubts - Flyme 6 Features Edited by prem_vardhan at 2017-01-20 09:18
I have been using Flyme 6 on my device for 3 weeks nearly and I have got plenty of doubts about few features. Some of them are here, so anyone know about them, please be a bit helpful by explaining. Firstly, coming to Background running options in Security feature, What's the difference between "Smart Background (recommended)" and "Keep running in background" feature. Here goes the screenshot: Second one, the feature in data(security), what's the difference between "Background" and "Allow data in background" feature. The next one is about Notifications, What does this do? Finally, did this ever work for you.

prem_vardhan replied at 2017-01-20 11:52 1) whatever time you set , it would automatically play at that time 2) I didn't get it ? what? 3) Allow background feature allows the apps running in background to consume the Internet..!

1) I tried it in A firmware but didn't work
2) by default its auto but you can set priority for each app 3) when allow background data is turned on apps running in the background will utilize your internet data let it be wifi or mobile data 4) smart background uses flymes new AI to optimize and reduce the data exchange taking place between the apps

RIPKILLER replied at 2017-01-20 10:31 2) Is this an auto feature or can I select what app notifs are unimportant? 3) What does "Allow background data" feature do then? 4) Understood this. Thanks for the reply RIPKILLER PLEASE DO ELABORATE ON ABOVE CLARIFICATIONS TOO. TIA

Let's start from below
1) Play back later is a feature where you can set a time and the song would play automatically at that time.. 2) As you see in notifications panel there's one option of unimportant notifications.. So by clicking show on home screen updates would be shown in notification panel and not under unimportant notifications 3) Background data connection means , the app when running in background consumes data 4) Smart running in background means , the system will run the app in such a way that it consumes less battery and data , keep running in background means it would run nd run consume battery and cpu
