Android 6.0 - What about us? :)Hey everyone, as we see all new smartphones coming with Android 6.0 based firmware but somewhy we are still on 5.1 xD
When will the new 6.0 system arrive to our awsome MX5 devices? I know that there is alot of bugs that should be fixed on our 5.1, but as i see it's related to the flyme5 and not android base itself. Would be great to know when we will have a taste of the new firmware.

Onohara replied at 2016-05-13 21:22 I'm waiting for Marshmallow (for Pro 5 mainly) too, but would be satisfied if they skip for N but a much sooner release date. Not 1 year after the release of Android N or longer. But first thing first, i want OTA on actual G rom and regular security updates. System app updates would be faster and easier too if don't have to wait for a new rom.

I think they will Skip Android M and bring Android N.

I think flyme 5 is working fine. Updates are frequent and for my taste is much better than pure android. You have to give developers time to do their job well, because if we do not and they do it fast and wrong, we will be the first to complain. I like flyme.

At this point I'd say it would be wise to skip Marshmallow to directly upgrade to N as it'll be out this year, and by the time we get either it would've been out for a while most likely.

Read link I sent ;) There is written, that all phones will receive Android 6 or probably N, because Android 6 can be skipped.

Tymcio replied at 2016-05-13 10:08 ..but it's fare to say that an operating system applies to all, right? Which means that you may not use a certain app that requires latest Android OS version but I might do - and I know some apps that I cannot install because I'm using 5.1. Flyme OS is great. But Meizu should consider upgrading Android OS version, why not to latest N.
To be true, none of apps I use every day don't need it :)
And about Android 6 you can read here: http://forum.flymeos.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=4194
