Many people think that blogging is an easy way to make money online. It is true to some extent but to a larger extent it is not. Though almost anyone without much knowledge can start blogging, instantly, but to become a professional blogger that gets you fame and money is not that easy.


Here are few tips to become a blogger-

Skill sets

Apart from the knowledge about the subject that you will be writing about, there are many other skills that you should be aware of or develop as you move on.

Own domain

It is better to buy a domain and get a server rather than opting for a free platform, if you want to continue blogging even if you are not taking it seriously.

WordPress

Most website are using WordPress and hence makes sense to use the same. It helps if you know little bit of programming, database (MySQL), server coding etc. Now this may not be that important but it always helps because there will be a time when you will need these skills. If you are not upgraded nor have knowledge you might have to get some paid help to fix those issues.
So in general the least dependent you are on others the more successful you will become.

  • Install WordPress.
  • And start blogging.
