Meizu M2 Firmware Flyme OS 4.5.4i is corruptHello. Maybe this has already been answered but I've been diving into Google without success.
I've downloaded the firmware 4.5.4.i for Meizu M2 but it seems to be corrupted. This is the steps I've taken: 1. Download firmware: http://www.res.flymeos.com/Firmw ... 761805cc/update.zip 2. Copy firmware to root internal storage 3. Reboot in recovery mode. 4. Apply ugprade. Then after a little while the error message appears: "Firmware corrupt". Is the zip correctly uploaded or is something I'm doing wrong? Thank you very much.

Hi, I have the same problem with my phone after upgrading with Flyme 4.5.4.2I.
Is there any solution for this issue? Why is it that there were no warnings or any hints about this issue in the website (http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=3&type=1). There should at-least be a warning for users with phones coming from China. In the website there are only 2 options for m2 note (Global and India). So I assumed that since my phone did not come from India, it should fall in the category of Global. Since Meizu is from China and there is no category for China. And since my factory firmware is way below the versions that is on the website, so I assumed that I need to upgrade it to get the best performance for my phone. Questions: 1. Again, Is there any solution for this issue? 2. If there is, then why isn't it posted here? 3. If there isn't, what responsibility will you (Meizu Support) do so that no one else will suffer the same confusion that I had encounter? 4. When will this issue ever be resolved? this thread started at 2016-02-04, today is 2016-05-31; 2 months had past already, users like us are still trying to find a way to get this resolved.

I acquired a Meizu M2 Note a month ago. I have not used it yet. The first thing I did was I attempted to install a screen pattern password. But after I entered the supposedly password characters, immediately a password was asked before I could enter again the same characters for confirmation. So, I entered the same characters as the password but the reply was wrong password, try again. It was never opened even if I tried the usual procedure of unlocking the phone /factory reset. I sent the phone to the Seller in China since I bought it online. Until now they are still trying to unlock the phone. Maybe you can share me the solution on this.
