There has been a lot of speculation lately among Meizu and Flyme fans as to when the next version of Flyme would release, what Android version would it be running on etc. Well, now a new screenshot has been leaked by popular leakster KJuma which reveals that the upcoming Flyme 6 might be running on Android 7 Nougat. Lets take a look at this screenshot that we are talking about...

According to the screenshot, the device is a Meizu MX6 which is running on Flyme 6.0.1.1 beta which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Meizu MX6 was originally launched running Flyme 5.2 which is based on Android Marshmallow with very few differences compared to Flyme 5.1 Lollipop hence the upgrade to a newer version of Android is highly likely to be.

It may be recalled that some time back Pony and Jennifer who are Flyme Managers had revealed in an interview that Flyme might skip the Marshmallow version of Android for most of the devices and directly update to Android Nougat (see the interview screenshot below), hence it is possible that the leaked device screenshot could be real. Are you excited.

The Flyme 6 Android version or the leaked MX6 screenshot is not yet confirmed officially by Meizu hence we advice you to take the news with a grain of salt.
