The Chinese company Meizu plans to release a first tablet on the market, detail unveiled today by a image and a sketch of the upcoming product. From what we’ve managed to find, it seems that this tablet will offer a 7.9 inch screen, so thereby we’re looking at a rival for tablets like Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 and for the popular Apple iPad Mini.

As you can notice, the picture quality we’re seeing today is pretty awful, so we’re pleased to know at least how big this slate will be in terms of the size. Well, this tablet will measure 172 mm in length and 102 mm in width, and the display will offer a 16:9 screen ratio.

According to a rumor, this tablet will be unveiled by Meizu during a special event planned for December, in order to bring the product on the market before the New Year. We could see a 7.9 inch display with a 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, an octa-core processor from Qualcomm or Mediatek and probably 3 GB of RAM. Definitely, the case will be made out from metal, but we’ll be sure once the tablet goes official.
