Change firmware from A to GHello,
Please, Meizu or Flyme reprezentatives, help me with a correct guide for changing the firmware from A to G. I have a Meizu MX5 whith Flyme 5.1.11.0A. I tried some methods to change the firmware, I downloaded 5.1.11.0G to the root of my MX5, but it doesn't work. It says: firmware corrupt. I am from Romania and I don't want to have the pre-installed applications in Chinese. Thank you! | |

Hello,
I contacted Meizu Customer Care and they adviced me not to try to change the firmware from A to another one because it could appear incompatibilities. So, the official opinion from Meizu is not to change firmware. In such conditions, I will not try anymore. It's a pity, because I don't want the Chinese version  | |

So, I should downgrade my software in order to be able to switch to global version? The is no other option? If not, how can I downgrade from 5.1.11.1A to 5.1.3.0A ? And are you sure that after downgrading, I could switch to global version by following the instructions above mentioned? PS: I put manny questions, but I want to be sure that I don't make any damages to my phone and this is the purpose of this forum - to receive correct information. Thank you! | |

You must install 5.1.3.0A and than do it.
