Flyme OS update questionHi everyone！
This is my first post so be gentle please  .I have a Meizu Pro 7 plus which i ordered last year's november thru germany from china.The phone is working perfectly so far but i'm curious if it has any update yet.Here is the screenshot of its current state:
As i read the forum had to realize that i have the chinese OS version（？）,even tho i specifically asked the company that i ordered from to send me the global version.Anyway my question is,do i have any update on this version of OS and if so where can i download it？ Thanks in advance. | |

Your version is Flyme 6.1.2.2A, A specify Chinese version,
And you have many updates for your Pro 7 plus, if you are not getting them in update app, you have to install Zip Updates from site and then update your phone, Here is the link : https://www.flyme.cn/firmware.html | |

.I did manage to update my Flyme OS.Here is the result.:
The new version is vastly better than the old one in every aspect.Although a new journey begins for me,since i lost my native language support and Google play services which was available for me in the old version.I will dig deeper in the forums and see if i can find a solution. If you don't mind i would like to ask questions later on if i run into troubles again. Thanks in advance. | |

Just talking to myself
 ,finally i have my Google Play services back.Only problem left is the lack of support for my native language.Currently using english which is fine for now but i will do more research and hopefully can circumvent this problem as well.See ya around folks. | |

I think you need to flash in the G rom. you might need to check you can swap from A to G. pretty sure some guy might have been doing it remotely. you might need to search through this forum. pretty sure all the info will be available.

Yea i found that thread where a vietnamese guy remotely switch your phone from A to G.Although the global version would be nice but i dont feel comfortable with the thought that someone has access everything on my phone (just my personal paranoia ,i'm sure he is an honest guy).If nothing else works i will probably ask for his help anyway. | |

Can I update my M793Q model via Update app? Because it shows that update is available.
Current version is Flyme 6.1.2.3G ? Can it be update to Flyme 7.0.0.0G though update application without bricking it? Or I should not do that? | |

I have the same model as you but came with the chinese version of Flyme.Mine didn't have originally the app but after i updated manually the latest version has it.Since then i had one update via the app and went perfectly (chinese version of Flyme get updates more often).Don't take my word but i think you should be fine.The problem as i read the forum usually comes when people try to switch from one version to another (G to A,global to chinese Flyme and vica versa).But yours already have global and you are updating to the same version.Wait for more experienced answers just to make sure.
