VirusApparently I've caught a nasty virus, the inbuilt antivirus software fails to detect it. I'm a little bit dissapointed with this fact, never thought of possibility of such problems on meizu. What can I do to get rid of it and never get again? Also, one of my banking apps started warning me about a root access, saying my phone has it. I didn't do anything to gain root access, I thought flyme has some sort of unique relationship with root, but I need my phone protected.

Managed to figure out that that's touch pal, but thanks. Isn't it flyme keyboard, because it is pre-installed. Also, I still have a warning about the root access, I know flyme is pre-rooted or something, but my banking apps started disallowing me use some features because of it. I don't need it, can I have a usual rooted noob phone?

I came by to check on the forums so I might as well help you out while I am here  Touchpal is pre-installed keyboard on meizu mx4 - they offer meizu keyboard as well but you will have to dig in Settings > Language and Input and switch it up in there ( My advice is to find a better keyboard on playstore since both of these are quite bad ) As for root detection you can try un-rooting your device ( I am big fan of root with a reason ^m^ ) . Just download super su from plastore , chose expert mode , ( You will be asked to give a root permission at some point during the process ) then choose normal mode. Wait for it to finish updating the binary and when it is done find settings in the app. Look for the un-root option , click on it and follow instructions . This method will delete your root access but you will also have to re-flash your firmware if you ever decide that you want your root back. P.S. Flyme does not come rooted , after adding flyme account you get an option to root your device ( Flyme will be un-rooted after flashing new firmware by default but I did not suggest that since it will delete your data or force you to re-install some apps due to stability issues ). There are many options for hiding root from certain apps - if you are interested in keeping it look up online on ways that people use to bypass root detection in android games. Best of luck ! ^m^ | |
