For me, I still prefer using offline and external storages because there are still countries that adopting to having internet connection. There are countries that having internet connection find it expensive. So they would prefer physical storage which is more convenient. But some how there's still pros and cons on using external storage and cloud storage

I prefer cloud solutions in general: Google Photos and Drive for the media that I generate and streaming services like Spotify, Netflix and Crunchyroll for the media that I consume.
