My problem has also been fixed, I discharged the battery to 0% and charged it fully to 100% and left it 30mins on 100% off plugged in the charger, then I powered on and without doing anything on the phone I unplugged the charger and left the phone locked and in deep sleep for 30mins and then I plugged the charger and left it 30mins again. I saw this procedure on an HTC forum and it worked for me!
