iPhone 6's touch ID VS. MEIZU Mx4 Pro's mTouch Edited by James_Kho at 2016-01-26 13:24
The unlock technology by fingerprint of mTouch came from a Chinese company named GOODiX in Shenzhen. It's a different style of technology compared to Apple's Touch ID which is supported by it's own acquisition AuthenTec. As Apple and Meizu both use the long touch way of unlocking and the touch botton is on the front panel, so someone may believe its totally equal to some acts of plagiarism. In my personal opinion the real technology inside is never and will never be easy to copy. Not shameless at all. Also mentioned is that GOODiX is apperently one of the top companies in the fingerprint field So what are your opinions/thoughts on the two different methods of the fingerprint technology?

Never get a chance to use iPhone 6. But Meizu's mTouch is fair enough. And I totally agree that although technology base for both are same, but one can not copy other seamlessly. Platforms are different after all.

when you consider security encryption and other technical factors i guess they both are par to be even compared.

I have also ONEPLUS 2... and there is no race... MEIZU one is a lot quicker and more precise!
Dunno about Apple but I think in this area there is no need of big improvement...
