(If not interested.. wait for a week - there is a global firmware update in pipeline -coming soon)

skipping volte operator selection will leave you in default settings. that may or may not work. But if you select the volte operator to rjil (abbriviated for Reliance jio Infocomm ltd) , it will work for 100%.

Also, if you skip the volte operatior selection.. you can skip mncmcc settings - all those are inter connected..
Only ims is enough... But this is not a 100% guranteed process to get volte.

Any one tried on mx5?

What about MX5 bro?

I have never used MX5, hence I dont know if the same settings are present or not. So wait till any mx5 user tries this method in their phone and reply here. But they have to try only if they are in latest stable / beta released in less than last 3 weeks  (chinese / global - both are fine).

My friend have mx5... He tried above steps.. But apn is couldn't save... His firmware is latest too..

Hey another thing i observed is when the phone is taken to a jungle area (I mean no signal area :-) ) and again if you come to a signal area then the HD symbol will be gone, again we need the to start the settings from the step 1, moreover we need to disable and enable the sim every time if you go to no signal area and come back.

I did not face this issue.. Hd logo came a little late though.. But next time, instead of doing this circus, just go to flight mode and come back , check it should show the HD  few seconds after geting the network

what??,, are you kidding.,. setting apn is the easiest step that can be done in any given phone.. Check again.. that should not be a problem.
