Oh and btw another question for everyone affected, what's the variant of the Pro 5 you're using, Silver/Black or the Silver/White one? Wondering because for some reason the Silver/Black is not only gone from where I bought it but from every single shop including Meizu official one here, and there has been talk on a local forum a while ago (with proof) of performance issues on the former so maybe they were a bad batch.

Just coming here to update about this, finally got the warranty to work and got it fixed. What they did is ... *drum roll* replace the motherboard! So yeah even if you're not using this phone anymore I recommend doing your best to get it sent in before your warranty expire to get it fixed, you can still sell it once it has been fixed.

I cannot agree with your opinions. For me it is a software bug. I tried various software version and everything is ok on flyme 4. Problem occurs only in flyme 5 and 6. Even one of faust93 custom roms worked without problems. I already replace jack module, but it didn't help. | |

I hope Meizu hear this problem and make it corrected very soon. It is one of the biggest obstacle for me and my enviroment not to buy new Meizu phone.

Just happened to me today. I have silver-white and after I restarted the phone it's on headphone mode. Tried restarting a again but nothing. What can we do? Is there still no solution? I was about to sell the phone because of terrible meizu customer service, most importantly it's 2017 and still on flyme5, but now I can't because of this problem!

I have the same problem. Asked the meizu service desk and they informed me the only solution is to change the motherboard.

Which version and rom capacity of your Pro 5 had problem? 32 or 64 Gb, china ( telecom or unicom) or internasional or ubuntu version? Please let me know about your meizu and thanks for sharing | |
