if u just look the changenotes of beta and stable firmwares, you can actually see how bad flyme is, they even lied to us about dirachd.

and by the way read this, and just put ".eu" after the meizufans, (they banned the site here because you know,    lol

My point of view:
1. Agree. Flyme is much more than visual customisation. Really an improved version of Android.
2. I don't think it's that buggy. In fact, I find it more stable than iOS.
3. Flyme is really really simple to get used to. Especially for one moving from iOS. When I started using it, I was actually already used to it. ^^
4. Some things and apps still appear in Chinese, but the OS and many things are in English. That's what matters. And I guess Flyme team will update it and translate Chinese to English.
5. Haven't found any security vulnerabilities yet.
6. I don't care which Android version is behind it, what's important is that things work, are awesome and that Flyme has features that are not included in Android. I don't care if it's Android 5 and not 6 since I have an option to allow or reject permissions.

Flyme is awesome. Have a good day!

calling FlymeOS more stable then iOS is madness!

And concerning security.

... see it like this: If somebody wants to rob your house, do they knock on the door or tell you that they do it?
NAH they do not.
They just break in and steal everything.

On the internet it works a bit different, they can steal it and leave the original; But you won't notice it.

-> meaning: Just because you don't notice it; and just because you have no clue about sercuirty-concerns related to the Internet. Doesn't mean there is no vulnerability.

Have a look at the 4 monkeys:

You are the monkey "SEE NO EVIL" -> Does that mean the evil doesn't exist?

And yeah I created this account just to tell  you this.
Feel honored, never have I ever read so much bullsh*t as you wrote.
Never ever have I felt the need to create an account to respond after getting banned. (ya happened before here.)

Actually Flyme OS is not fully based on Android, they just integrate some of the Google services in order to work on their OS which is finance by Alibaba called YunOS. Flyme OS does not trully follow the whole ecosystem of Android. Based on your so called "thread" you are just new to Flyme. Just because someone does not agree to your perception it does not mean they hate Flyme. The haters or noob as you call it just wanted to have the Flyme team to fix all reported issues with the firmware versions they are releasing. I wrote a post on the BUG section that all the issues from the previous version are still present meaning it was not addressed properly on the new firmware.

@UltraResponseToZznidar aka Ultrametric is right All FlymeOS are based on just ONE version which is the Chinese version of Flyme (why because we already tried how to make a Global version to a Chinese version in order for some of the features on the Flyme apps to work that is intended for Chinese market only).

We don't care who ever implement the first "flat UI" what we as a user of Meizu device is to address the issues that have been reported already even before the Flyme 5 was ever release. If Flyme really wants it's firmware to be secure, then it should always provide OTA updates for any security patches that Google release for Android 5.1.1 based firmware. This what makes the difference, as Google is keen in providing security updates to their firmware unlike Flyme you have to wait for months before getting the any as they try to release it as a whole package which is kinda annoying.

Another one of those good reads. I'll be showing these to my friends and to other android/ios users who doubt Flyme OS.

Sorry, but I have experienced more bugs on iOS than on Flyme. Why do you think it isn't stable?

I'm not sure how you got the idea of my internet security knowledge. Please, explain.
I didn't state it is secure, everything-proof, not vulnerable etc., I just said I haven't found a vulnerability. And as of frequent Flyme updates (it looks like 1 per month), if there was a vulnerability found and reported, I'm sure you'd get a fix soon.
P. S.: It seems like sometimes it's worth creating an account to enter a debate.
