Your facts and arguments actually show that you and I essentially agree about the issue.
If Meizu d ...

Look, I fully understand where you're coming from and all the risk/management assessment/point of view. I just don't agree that that's the better option. It lacks a differentiating/identity factor.
There's a factor of say Passion/Emotion/Vision which is built-in in the Meizu character/personality perception that is forward to consumers through FlymeOS. That's a differentiating factor from everyone else. Some love it some don't. I actually like it: beautiful, simple, easy, it works light/fast and doesn't get in your way. Not perfect for sure, but there isn't one.

Android One lacks it but has everything else you mentioned. It's good for a specific model/series for that kind of users, like Xiaomi did with A1/A2 model series. Meizu should also make them available yes. But not depend on them. It would kill all the Passion/Emotion associated with the brand Meizu. Like Xiaomi did.

If you're in to management you (should) know for sure that not everything should be run as coldhearted risk/management assessment/point of view (trap), so perhaps you understand where I'm coming from. That's how Apple got to be Apple, for example.

So there isn't an easy way out of it, Meizu loyal global users/fans like their unique innovation and simplicity approach trough harware/software design/vision. If you take that out you may improve your risk/management assessment/point of view but you'll lose your fan base and that's a huge risk by it self, isn't it?

Anyway that's my two cents... I just hope that Meizu comes true on its Global user support to be on par with the Asian support. And has to come first and foremost with proper roms updates/upgrades, forget about regional/country presence, that can come later.

Krsman: Again, you're right, and I love Flyme, I said that in my previous post, but it's becoming evident that Meizu can't cope with the expectations of the regular global user. It's absurd that Meizu releas
