What a mess!
I started yesterday with the lagging problems. No Google app worked. Tried everything today, until i finally decided to make a backup & reset from factory. I've tried all Google installer apk versions, even latest 2.0. Nothing works. I ended up installing the most urgent apps by hand (whatsapp, waze, email app...) without Google Play.

Device: M2 Mini.


We really need an URGENT solution from Meizu.
After July's big problem (almost same issue), now again.
Moving to other brand in 3, 2, 1...

Same for me with two Meizu : a M2 mini (my wife's) and a M3S (my mother-in-law's) ...
Do you want to be responsible for a divorce ?

We now have 2 Google-disabled bricks ->  2 new phones to buy  ! ?!?! ...  Meizu ? not sure, although I used to like them ...

Yes, we need at least a statement and a plan from the support team. This is what any customer would expect from a serious company.

Temporary Solution


For Meizu M3S

Installing Google Play services
1.Download  Google Play services 14.5.82 https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-14-5-82-release/
Meizu M3S is 320dpi (to find dpi i used Displayinfo from Meizu App Store)


2.Install/Update all your apps (it will also update Google Play services to 14.7.99)
if it updates to 14.7.99 before installing other apps again install 14.5.82


To Stop Updating again to 14.7.99

Security > Data > Network Accsess
Deny Internet access to Google Play Store in Mobile and WLAN, Disallow background data connection also

It works in my meizu m3s, thank you.  But only 30mins. I think the company should have directly solutions for this problems
