Meizu’s ‘bezel-less’ smartphone leakedabout a week ago, and now the company’s alleged ‘bezel-free’ phone appeared yet again, though this time around it sports a different design. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you will see this newly-leaked handset, and its upper side looks identical to the design that we’ve seen a week ago, but the bottom of this phone is somewhat different, as you’ll notice that there is some bezel included below the display, read on.

The design that leaked a week ago was almost all bezel-less, aside from some bezel above the display. Well, in this new variant, a capacitive home key is placed below the display, as it was the case with Meizu’s smartphones a couple of years ago. Meizu has been incorporating its multifunctional mBack button in its smartphones for quite some time now, but chances are we won’t see that key in the company’s upcoming bezel-less smartphone. That being said, the two renders that surfaced today, and the two that popped up a week ago are most probably only concept images, they at least seem to be. All of those images are reporting that the company’s upcoming phone will have a curved display, and almost non-existing bezels on the sides, and truth be said, these designs look a bit too good to be true, though anything’s possible.

Having said that, Meizu will not introduce a ‘bezel-less’ device in 2017, the company’s Head of Global Marketing actually confirmed recently that the company plans to announce such a phone in 2018, though he did not say when exactly. Meizu could, however, introduce the Meizu MX7 on October 11, as a teaser image for that event leaked recently, though Meizu still did not confirm that the event is happening. This company actually introduced its flagship smartphones a couple of months ago, the Meizu PRO 7 and PRO 7 Plus, both of which sport a secondary display on their back sides, so it will be interesting to see what else is Meizu planning when it comes to the design of its smartphones, as the Meizu PRO 7 (Plus) are a step in a new direction for Meizu, and the company’s ‘bezel-less’ smartphone is still a mystery.
