Unless you want the most basic of hiding and 'protection' from prying eyes, you'll probably want to turn to third-party help in getting better control of your data, files and apps. Although Flyme 6 provides Guest Mode and Private Mode in Settings to protect your privacy, one might still want to find an easier way to hide some apps.

To hide Android apps on Flyme, this app PrivateMe makes a clone of the app to be hidden and asks you to uninstall the original app, make it disappear from your phone system. After hiding, you can only access it from PrivateMe interface. You can password protect this app, prevent other users from uninstalling it, and even turn its interface into a basic calculator app so that no one can get a clue that you have an app hider installed on your phone.

Let'snow see the steps:

Step 1: After installing this app, open it and tap on the “+” button to enter App creating list, and select local apps to create.

Step 2: PrivateMe will then hide this app within its interface and prompt you to uninstall it from the phone. After completely hiding the app, youcan only access it through PrivateMe.

As I mentioned, you can even hide PrivateMe from the Android app drawer. For this, you have to enable its“Cover Mode”from settings. After that, it will prompt you to specify a code which you will have to enter in its calculator interfaceto open its main interface. Now,the PrivateMe icon will change to a calculator and when you open it, it just works as a normal calculator. Type the secret code to open PrivateMe interface and access the hidden apps or hide new apps.

To download: You can grab it from play store by searching “PrivateMe”
