14th March, is known as the White Day for lovers, but it's also the established day of Meizu since 2003. Created by J.Wong, who has deep enthusiasm and dream for electronic products.  Dream in Chinese pronounces as Meng Xiang, that's why one of Meizu's mobile series calls MX, an abbreviation of MengXiang.
Meizu started business as MP3 manufacturer on 2003, it was soon became succeed and created many NO.1 in Chinese market with it's delicated MP3 designing and quality. During Meizu's MP3 period, there were more than 30 MP3 models were designed, but only 10 models were released as J.Wong thought the rest were not good enough.

On 2009, Meizu launched its first smartphone M8, with WinCE system, it's also known as the first smart phone produced by a Chinese Mainland manufacturer.

On 2011, Meizu launched M9, and adopted Android instead of WinCE, and became an successful and leading Android phone in Chinese market.

On 2012, MX series was released, it represented that Meizu increased it's designing concept and user experience to a new level.

30th, June, 2012, Flyme 1.0 was released. (See the evolution of Flyme HERE)

13 years past, Meizu nowadays has more than 4000 staff, 2000 offline retailing stores, 30 million Flyme users, and sold more than 20 million smart phones on 2015.
