How's the music library from Meizu app compared to streaming services like spotify (which are also free if you get the tablet mod apk)? Anyway that's a great find, it also goes with what you were saying in the 5.1.3 thread that the global beta are just chinese version with translations added, good job!

Spotify is not free on the phone. And I always use Spotify.
Additionally, you can not download music through Spotify! You can only save a play list temporary.

So simply said, the Meizu Music App does more than Spotify can do.

As I said it is free as long as you're using the tablet mod, I know it as I'm using it on 4 devices, the only thing you cannot do is indeed download but everything else is unlocked.

Now being able to download is cool extra, but if it only has popular worldwide artists it is useless for me while spotify has most of what I'm listening to, hence asking how's the music library on it

10€ a month for music is nothing, you could consider to get Spotify unlimited

Don't underestimate the Music App, it has a pretty big song pool. I am going to use it, to download some more songs, this months.

I didn't use mp3s in a long time, basically since Spotify is available in Europe. But getting it so easy, is tempting.

Yeah 10€ ain't much but I cannot see any points paying for it when for me free streaming is more than enough since I barely use my data plan for anything else, and got most of it downloaded on my computer anyway. It really is more of a matter of saving my free space for something else.

Anyway just checked and apparently Meizu music app does use Baidu which indeed has a so-so library for me with the few search I ran returning at best with some of the most well known artist here 30% of his work, and for others only a few songs.

But hey the cloud and yellow pages are more than welcome already :D
