Hello!
Maybe is on your device bootloader unlocked and you should to flash original Software with some tool from Meizu to lock your bootloader.

WilliCJ: I can't find anything on this forum about using a flash tool for an M3 Max (it might be just me). Do you know if there is a flash tool that will work on a Meizu - specifically my M3 Max? I've found so

I have performed the factory reset (cleared using recovery option), installed Chrome, and downloaded 6.3.0.0G. It does "run the update" and gives me the above screen (rather than the option to access the zip file I had previously), but I still receive the "Firmware Corrupt" message when it reboots into the upgrade program. btw: the device is currently "rooted", and I believe the only way to "un-root" it, is to install the new OS!Next suggestion?

Did you connect your device with Google and Meizu account?

Hello!
I would take a factory reset again with option to erase all data, connect device with Meizu account and install Google play services and than install Firmware 6.3.
What about your Internet connection on your device, is it fast  and stable enough to download Update package?

Hi again,

I've tried that, and still get the "firmware corrupt" message. When the device restarted, I did get a "Root access" request message though, is that normal?

I've been using my home internet connection, which is fast (enough) and stable, but I've just downloaded the zip files over my 4G connection just in case, but (obviously) had the same result.

Still not getting anywhere though! The phone continually tells me that the firmware is corrupt. I don't see how it can be the firmware that I've downloaded, so it must be the phone, and I've taken it back to factory as best I can, but it does seem to stay Rooted, so it's obviously not real "Factory".

More suggestions please!

Hello!
Try this: turn off your phone, press at same time power and volume up or down button for some time. See what happens and read carefully what is next step.
