Language change of "Active Smart Voice"when pressing on the Home Key, it is possible to use either "Active Smart Voice" or "turn of the screen". But smart voice language is only chiness or I couln't manage to find any menu to change the language. Is it possible to change the language?

I am surprised with the lack of attention that Meizu has with their customers. All that I saw in forums, people saying that Meizu does not care with customers, sadly its turning out true.
How is it possible after almost 1 month a simple answer that takes a couple of seconds and no one cares????? I am stunned and Meizu can be selling millions of smartphones but with this kind of relationship with customers Meizu wont last long. Its inadmissible that after a month there isn't a single moderator or user that can give this man an answer. Amazing !!!!!!!!!! | |

U r using beta version... There is only chinese language available.... If u r using stable version yhen u can find english version... I hope soon they will solve this problem... But till now they didnt mention any update for this problem.

I know this is an old old post, but I just worked out how to do it on my M5 Note. You could try the following method and see if it works for you too on the Pro 5? It's easy to reverse all the changes.
You need to install the Google app and make it a system app (get root and use Link2sd to do this). Reboot phone. You need to uninstall Voice Settings system app using a System App Uninstaller. Make sure that the setting for Home Button is "Smart Voice" in Accessibility settings. Then find the following line in root > system > build.prop using a file explorer with root privileges: ro.product.locale = zn-CH and change it to ro.product.locale = en-US click the save button. Reboot phone. And that should do it. Holding down the home button should now activate Google Voice Search. Can go into more detail/provide screenshots if needed, but it's working flawlessly for me on Flyme 5.2.11.3A Stable on my M5 Note. | |
