Excellent initiative!
Most Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 users are discontent for some reason: either for the short battery life, the unreleased kernel source code, the lack of android updates, or the sheer absence of attention to this device ever since it was made available. Adjusting Flyme to suit Redmi Note 2, eventually even better than MIUI itself, will surely draw the customer base towards Meizu. And rightfully so, since Xiaomi remains mainly as a provider of low bugdet devices with null support or improvement, while Meizu has proven itself to please the community staying on the mid budget range with great devices. Now, first question: is this a global release, or a chinese one? I flashed this rom, and was confronted with a lot of chinese (is it chinese?) content, mainly on stock apps such as Themes, Life, News, etc. If it's chinese, is there any chance we'll get a global release? Second question: when I finished flashing/installing this Flyme version, my device had 49% battery left, which lasted for around 2h30m; however, after I fully charged it (and several cycles afterwards), it now averages 2h30m for 100% battery. Most Redmi Note 2 users know this to be this device's normal battery performance, but I found it very odd that it would last as long on 50% as it does on 100% battery... what could be causing this behaviour? Thank you very much in advance! | |
