So my problem is i bought my MEIZU MX5 from Aliexpress the phone arrived safetly. The device was bloated(i mean so many apps on it)i decided to remove some of the apps one by one, but i was too lazy to do that. I figured out if i do factory reset it will be fast, so i did it......after factory reset the phone boot successfully, now the device is asking me for password on first boot screen with some email. So i discovered the seller has allready login with his own email in flyme account....well i contacted the seller what he told me is he has forget the password for that phone. Now am stuck with paper weight phone. I know my way around android device. I DID SOME TROUBLESHOOTING _--------------------------------------------------_ 1.connected my device to my PC if i can get ADB to work but it failed. 2.Try to boot with hardware key to enter recovery mode so i can downgrade to old flymeOS firmware but failed(volume up + power/sleep/awake) 3. Try bootloader mode with fastboot to flash stock recovery but i can find stock recovery( Will be happy if someone will help me to find stock recovery for MX5) PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS AN IDEA OR HAS FACED THIS KIND OF PROBLEM BEFORE SHOULD HELP ME OUT BECAUSE I CAN'T LOSE MY ONLY LOVED MEIZU DEVICE THANKS. | |

is it possible to ask the ex-owner to help you to reset the password? (as he can receive verification code by mobile or email)

Is it possible that MEIZU/FLYME can remove this email or reset the password remotely or wireless for me if i provide necessary document?

The seller said I should return the phone...which it will cost me half of the price of the phone......I need help to solve this. | |

Contact with mzcs@meizu.com and provide them invoice for the phone.

I think the device is stolen...because the seller is unable to provide valid meizu Invoice......I have open dispute i don't suggest buying MEIZU PHONE FROM ALIEXPRESS because they are all stolen device.
