(RESOLVED) Notification Issues on Meizu Pro7 Edited by User5207457564 at 2019-06-26 20:31
Hello,I have issues with my app notifications for some reason. I've had these issues ever since I got this phone, but it hasn't really bothered me that much until now. I only receive notifications from certain apps. For example, Whatsapp notifications always work, Gmail notifications only work if I have the app open in the background, and Kik notifications only work when I'm on the app. All my other apps (YouTube, VLive, games, work and university-related apps, etc.) don't give me notifications, even though the app settings and phone settings allow notifications from those apps (Yes, I have checked this multiple times). My phone model is Meizu Pro 7-S, Android version 7.0.0, Flyme version 7.1.0.0A. Is there any way to fix this? It generally does not bother me, but I do have some relatively important apps that I would like to receive notifications from. Thank you. | |

The first thing I do after I refresh my system is to "Allow running in background" and "Allow background data connection" for the apps I need real time notifications. The second thing I do is to Lock these apps in recent tasks list (that padlock above app card). Of course, there could be apps that are not so well developed and some notifications could be missing. I guess it's not Flyme fault after all.

Sometimes it is not necessary to always keep "allow running apps in background" . I set storage option in app permissions to "Allow" and it worked for me but yes for some apps you have to choose first option. That worked for Microsoft apps.
