Wifi stops after screen lockHello,
I have a problem with my M3s. As an example, if I launch some streaming of radio stations, when the screen locks after some seconds, the streaming often interrupts. The thing always happens using Wifi, not with mobile data. When I wake up the screen, I see that Wifi is trying to reconnect: when the Wifi reconnects again, the streaming restarts also. It seems there is some "energy consumption" setting that stops Wifi unwantedly. I usually use the phone in Balanced mode (factory standard). Can you suggest me which preference can I touch to prevent this phenomenon? The Flyme version is 5.1.5.0G Thanks for the attention. | |

There is an advance setting which made wifi stopped on the lock screen called "lock-screen dormant" just turn it off if u want to keep the wifi on the locked screen

Hey, go to the settings and see if keep wifi awake during sleep is set to always. It should be in Settings>WiFi Settings. Also go to the security app and see if the wifi is set to sleep after a few minutes of sleep standby.

Hello,
in the Wifi settings, Advanced Settings, there is the option "Suspend with locked screen", but it's disabled, so the Wifi shouldn't stop itself. In the Security app there is no a voice which is related to the locking after a set of minutes, so it doesn't seem to solve. I also tried some "Service app" which has the goal to lock the Wifi, but they seem to work in some moments and others not..... at the moment the problem persists......rather bad. | |

The thing is: the "Lock screen dormant" option is disabled, so I don't understand why happens this behaviour, it should behave in the opposite way. Who knows, I will do other tests. | |

Thanks to the useful support of the great user PULKIT007,
I began to obtain better results. First, I installed the new version of Security app at this address (Flyme 7 Security app): Security app (the installation is fine although I still have Flyme 5). Then, if I want to keep active the Wify for a certain app (in this case Tunein Radio), I make these 2 steps: 1) go to Security app->Permissions->Run in background, I activate the app according to the image below: https://i.postimg.cc/XJ1GM0dm/run-in-background.jpg 2) go to Security app->Data handling->In background, I activate the app according to the image below: https://i.postimg.cc/k4g6h56W/background-data-connection.jpg After doing all the 3 steps, in many cases the Wifi streaming doesn't stop, only sometimes it stops, but it's already a big improvement!! | |

But after installing new Security App on Flyme 5 the Battery is not working any more.
On my Pro6Plus I cannot open Battery menu, as well as Details (battery usage statictics) are empty. So be careful. But streaming radio now works in background. | |
