update m2note "G" firmware corruptHi
I want to update my m2note from 5.1.5.0A (english/chinese) to "G" international. I downloaded it > update.zip in root directory. Then I start with vol/start button. It tests the firmware, then message " firmware corrupt". I downloaded 3 times on laptop, one time with handy everytime the same error? What can I do ? Has somebody an idea ? Has somebody the same problem. I downloaded it from the meizu homepage > m2 note (Global) Version: Flyme 5.1.5.0G Time: 2016-5-18 Thanks for help!

Hi
I bought it in China at jd.com - but I think with international version. Because I could start it with language "german". But my great mistake, I made the update 5.1.5.0A to china version, I didnt know that this is china version. Maybe I should make "factory data reset". Then it should be "international" again? And then the update 5.1.5.0G? best regards

My factory default firmware was Flyme 4.2I, then I upgraded to Flyme 4.5.4.2I but I also got the Firmware corrupt error.
And I bought my M2 Note at a China Telecom branch in Macau. So even "I" to "I" upgrade still produces the "Firmware corrupt" problem. In industry standard, this is already a HIGH PRIORITY CASE that requires an immediate action. But until now, I can't find a forum that provides any solution. Not even a hint to send it to an authorized service technician. My phone still keeps boot-looping and doesn't go any further than the MEIZU startup logo. Then it will reboot again. I couldn't even turn it off even if I press the power button for more than 10 seconds.

User493730320 replied at 2016-07-02 23:32 If you buy a M2 note from China, you can't flash a global version directly. but there is a method to help you flash a global version. First: Login your Flyme account. Go to Settings-Security-Root Access to get your device's root access. Install SuperSU to take over the system's root access. Second: Download and install Flyme localizationFree Open it and you will find it is based on Russian. Don't worry.Choose the second option.then Choose the "Meizu M2 Note"(Remember to let it get the root access.) then your phone will reboot. So far...you can flash a global version normally!

actually there is no problem if we wanted to upgrade from version I to version A and then return to the I version. Always wipe data before upgrading.
The problem is a corrupt message often occurs if an early version is A because u has not changed the identity of the phone version..there is a linux scr ipt that will change the phone id from A to I/G. I found it in the europe meizu forum..
