two days ago i purchased brand new meizu m6 note. i got OTA update to firmware 6.1.4.1g, but i have 3 problems with the phone: 1. cell broadcast notifications - i cannot turn them off in settings menu, it is locked (greyed out); 2. calendar app doesn't show my google account birthdays (calendar and contacts box from my gmail account is checked); 3. sometimes i don't get viber notificatons until i opet viber app; i did hard/factorey reset 3 times!!! and nothing fixed the issues above. please someone respond how to fix this issues. also i would like respond from meizu/flyme staff about those 3 issues and when they plan to fix this? i purchased this phone before redmi note 4, don't make me feel i made a wrong choice. thanks! | |

please try to reflash the ROM again. download the ROM from the download section of this forum. Go to file manager and navigate to the downloaded rom, it should see it as an update. proceed to flash the ROM.

Open Google calendar make sure it is synced with your Google account. Open settings other accounts Google tic all sync all Open meizu calendar Your calendars should be shown For Viber and broadcast we already talked | |

ok, viber and calendar (thanks to @ippokratis) fixed so far. issue no3 - viber = to make push notifications work without problem, switch smart background to run in background. but in miui, which also has smart background, apps that are put in smart background have normal push notifications, so this is again flyme issue. issue no2 - flyme calendar = this was wierd. sync was "on" for all my google account apps but it didn't show my google calendar events until i manually pressed "sync now". i remember with 6.4.1.0 rom (the one that came with the phone), there was no issue with flyme calendar. of course, another flyme bug. but the biggest issue still doesn't have workaround - cell broadcast notifications. hope we get a fix soon and i hope some flyme developers read this. | |
