Google launches group chat app: Spaces
Google is not giving up on its socialambitions, it seems, despite its failures with Google+. The company announced this morning a new social app called Spaces,which focuses on group sharing.
The app allows small groups of users to tap into otherGoogle services, including Google Search, YouTube and Chrome, in order to postlinks and share content without having to move in between apps.
They can alsohave conversations around that content in a group chat-like interface. Thismakes Spaces more of a competitor to something like Facebook’s Messenger orWhatsApp, perhaps, because of its focus on chatting andits mobile-friendly nature. (The app is available on iOS, Android andmobile web, though it will also work on the desktop). What are your thoughts on google's new innovation? haha... After Orkut and Google+ now its Spaces... Rather than launching more and more social media app, Google should just focus on improvising the apps that they already have...
