The speciality of meizu is its uni body metal design! But yeah your suggestions Baymax2000 and ultrametric will be duly noted and reported to product team.

Well, I am very happy about current design.
The only thing I would change for the future is to hide camera (I have Meizu Pro 5, where camera is 2mm above the back). Meizu does great job with minimalistic design in reasonable price! | |

It is a design philosophy , you can even see the reflection of it in new Meizu logo, tho at the end there is only so much you can do to make a design standout.
