I have 6.3.0.2A and the Google Contact sync is ...khmm.... Yesterday, I follow this process and from that time, the sync is working. Would somebody try this method and share his/her experience? Thanks! #1 Install Play Services Info app from Google Play. It checks the version of Google Play Services. If needed, install latest version from Google Play. #2 After install/update, phone requests to add read/write/delete permission to Google Contact Sync. Instead of "ask question" need "allow". #3 Go to Settings - Apps - All. Choose Google Account manager (green background - white Android). In Permission management, allow contact read/write/delete. Instead of "ask question" need "allow". I have hungarian language on phone, so pictures with hungarian words are not really helpful...
