Root is the easiest in Flyme. i just did it in my m3note.
There is literally a button for turning root on in the settings under fingerprint and security. Just login to flyme account or create one. The only danger is losing your imei no. which happens quite easily with m3note when upgrading n formatting. The benifit? Not much. there is really no bloatware on flyme 6. u can del opera max if u want.. or the app store? | |

Root maybe considered harmful for device but for basic uses it is not. It helps to use Apps like L Speed. Which enhance performance and battery!

phones should not be rooted if it's within the warranty period, or else you may loose the warranty, the purpose of rooting is you can install any android version of your choice, applications etc. I haven't rooted my Meizu m2 note.
