the security center loops at this pointit scans upto this data only and doesn't continue forwards , and the same files gets scanned repeatedly

Hey, try clearing security app's cache and data. After that, update the virus definitions and rescan data. If the problem still exists then report it as a bug and it'll be fixed soon.
