notifications and unwanted apps on MX6 android flymeHi
I am in Australia and I have a Meizu MX6 with the lastest flyme. Sometimes I get woken up in the middle of the night by notifications from "security app", "meizu account center" "benefits center" and some other apps that are in Chinese language and I do not know what they are or do. I dont use or want these apps and yet everyday I get notifications and messages from them. my question is, How do I turn off notifications for these unwanted/unused apps? Is there a way to remove these unused apps from the phone? I have tried turning off all notifications but this means I do not get notifications for the apps I do want to use like Whatsapp. regards jason | |

Hi friend,
That´s because you have the Chinese version of the MX6 instead of the Global one. But don´t worry you can still get rid of those annoying notifications. What you have to do is to install the Global firmware. On the web if you search for a tutorial, you will find one in which thanks to flashfire you can flash on the device the Global Firmware. However, be prudent and follow it correctly because otherwise you can find your Smartphone useless. If you want further information ask me, but the tutorial I know it is in Spanish and that´s the reason because I haven´t attached it to you in this answering. | |
