M2 Note GPS Doesn't Work Edited by User5202685188 at 2017-05-14 22:50
Recently found that MAPS.ME and another navigation apps cannot get my current location. Location Services are ON with GPS Only Setting, Permissions are OK. Networks + GPS locating is working normally. Tried several stable firmwares: Flyme 5.1.11A & 6.0.2A, results are the same: App tries to get location in infinite loop. Problem started when i've first time upgraded to Flyme 6, but accidently turned off Google Location Services at initial Google Play Setup, now its seems enabled, but the problem persists. One or two times the phone actually determined its location while i was pressing its body in certain areas, but now it doesn't seem to work. MTK Engineer Tool says that GPS is Enabled with 'UNAVAILABLE' status and TTFF: Counting Any ideas? P.S. I'm experiencing also this abnormal behaviour: • File Transfer, Directory Creation doesn't work in Windows & macOS – just shows storage contents • Cannot connect to Wi-Fi networks in Flyme 5.1.11A

Hey, please try flashing the latest Chinese beta 6.7.5.9A and see if the problem still persists. If it does then please capture a log file and report it as a bug. Make sure you tick clear data when flashing a new firmware.

User5202685188 replied at 2017-05-14 22:43 That's why I say clear data, and install all the Google Services through GMS Installer.
