SOLVED: Blackberry Hub+ Services Edited by dilijasi at 2017-05-01 14:15
I posted this initially on the M3s forum but the mod asked to post it here as well (I guess it will work on all Flyme 5/6 devices). Hey guys, if you tried to run (excellent IMHO) suite of Blackberry consumer apps on your M3S running latest available global beta firmware (6.7.4.11G) you might have run into problems of the Hub constantly asking for an update and not being able to send out emails even if mail account were properly set.  I discovered the solution: keep it always running in background! Look for Settings-Apps-Installed-(here search for both Blackberry Hub+ Services and the Hub)-Permission Management-Run in background. Use 'Keep running in background' option instead of 'Smart background' (for both apps). Not sure if such setting will take a hit on battery life (probably yes) but at least both apps are working as advertised ;-) EDIT: regarding battery consumption, after several days of use, my phone is reporting Blackberry Hub+ Services power usage ratio of 4% which to me is perfectly acceptable. | |
