[SOLVED] Battery being used by process called "Uid: 1021" Edited by danieleal at 2017-02-08 23:08
HELP! My Battery is being used by process called "Uid: 1021". Does anyone else have the same issue on the 5.1.12.0G? I can't figure out what it is and I'm afraid it could be malware, I've already reinstalled and wiped but it seems to be a system process, I've also tried disabling some cloud services and network related apps but I've had no success... Can you guys check if this App also appears on your battery usage? EDIT: I think I found the solution, I installed BetterBatteryStats.apk and checked under "processes" what was the process corresponding to the Uid:1021 in my case it was a process called "MPED" located in "/system/xbin" folder... I moved the file from that folder to a backup folder in case I notice any instability on the ROM and so far everything is fine and no more "Uid:1021" consuming my battery! EDIT: After I deleted this file my battery is everlasting, 2 days under heavy usage so far and I'm still at 53%!
