The phones are not bad. The price is good.
The bad is:
- 5.1 in 2017 (with Nougat available)
- hidden security patch

Bootloader locked for me it's not important. I need a working phone not modding all days ;)
But you are right, at the moment I'm not going to buy another Meizu phone

yes and also the flyme have many bugs, and haven't its own personality, its like Android dressed iOS who i hate it, i wish that meizu use the raw Android for a great performance and a quick update like motorola did before it owned by lenovo
i was with HTC and LG and i Always insrall the CM .. for 3 reasons:
-great performance
-great audio output by the built-in audio drivers and AUDIOFX app
-realtime updates of security patchs and the SDK versions

-M3 Note will get Flyme 6 update after beta testing completed.
-It is based on Android Lollipop, but they are implemented more than Nougat features in Flyme 6!(There is a comparison thread abt it in forum already)
-Meizu instally monthly Google security patches in every Flyme updates! (They said it an interview)

It's a good decision. I tried Meizu and I like Flyme but the service to the software is not so good

Lollipop lol, and I bought second meizu smartphone. My m2 has a flyme 6 already. Although beta and based on yunos... I guess I am not buying again meizu phone. It is disappointing - good phone, decent performance, low quality photography and absent updates.
