Introduction
This topic will explain you, how to root FlymeOS 5 Global.



Requirements

• Flyme-Account (name@flyme.cn)
• FlymeOS 5 Global
• UserCenter
  

Suggested

• SuperSU
• AppCenter
  

Root your phone

The UserCenter and AppCenter you may download here. Link: [APK] Important Stock Applications from Flyme OS 5
I suggest you to install the AppCenter, because it allows you to install the AppCenter becaues it gives you the pro version for free.

• Install the UserCenter
• Launch the UserCenter and log in to your name@flyme.cn account
• Go to Settings
• Scroll down and click on Fingerprint and security
• Scroll down and click on Root permission
• READ THE DISCLAIMER
• Accept and hit OK
• Phone reboots
  

Congratulation you now successfully rooted your phone.


Install SuperSU

So now it's time to install SuperSU. You don't have to do it, I just like the app and always do it right after rooting the phone.

It's important that you have version 2.46. Don't update, or you may not be able to udate the SU binary.

How to setup SuperSU

• Install SuperSU v2.46 from the PlayStore
• Launch SuperSU
• You will be asked to update the SuperSU binary, select CONTINUE
• Select NORMAL
• Allow SuperSU the requested root permission.
• Read the Warning
• Select remember my choice and click Still Allow
• Wait and hope for the best
• Reboot when asked to do so
