[Europe] Where to buy a Meizu Edited by ultrametric at 2015-12-24 04:33
Introduction Meizu offers great phones for a good price. The global/international phones are a bit more expensive than their Chinese equals. But offer you a bit more for the money. If you are looking to buy a Meizu in Europe, this is the topic you have to read first. The Meizumart Not so long ago, the only way to purchase a global/international Meizu phone was by ordering it from the Meizumart, and well that was costly, but most of the time not possible. As the phone weren't in stock. So luckily, that has changed now.For further information on the Meizumart, may be found here: The Meizumart Phone Versions The global/international phones always end with the letter “H”. Like for the Meizu Mx5 the one you want is the: M575H. And the global/international Meizu Pro 5 is the: M576H. Further information on the different models, may be found here: Where to buy in Europe It's possible to get the international phones from official Meizu agents, so in Europe it's:
Further information on the named stores, check out the following links and notes. Meizumart.it Amazon Meizumobiles.fr The French meizumobiles.fr team speaks no English at all! So unless you are fine with french, don't buy from there. TCCM TCCM sells phones to mobile service providers in the east of Europe. TCCM phones are global/international phones with an additional limitation! It's not possible to install a Chinese Firmware on TCCM phones. Before you buy a Meizu There are a few things you have to do before buying a Meizu. Like 4G support, supported languages and so on. Meizu Phones do not support the important European 4G band, B20. Further information, may be found here: LINK Support in Europe Chinese Meizu phones have no support outside of China, that's a bummer. But this is exactly how the boss at Meizu wants it to be. If you aren't so up to repair your phone yourself, then better get the global/international phone and take advantage of the 1 year warranty it offers you. If you bought it from Amazon you may take use of the amazing Amazon customer care. Or you could also check out the Italien Support page. Just open a ticket under the following link. Hi! So, as I understand from the information above... Amazon.es is no official Meizu agent? In that case, is there any official agent to buy a Meizu device in Spain?

Lukka12 replied at 2016-01-10 01:08 Amazon is huge. Do you have a phone that's sold and shipped by Amazon Spain? If so I'm confident that it's the global phone. Please share a link. And you may get it from here:http://www.mymeizu.es/ or http://www.teknodirecto.com/busc ... &submit_search= But both of those links are way too expensive!

ultrametric replied at 2016-01-09 21:22 Thak you for the quick answer! I've been searching in Amazon.es, and in the descripcion there's no mention about the device's version. Nontheless, users state in their comments that amazon sells international (or global) versions, with Playstore. So i guess it's a reliable seller, such as the british, french a deutch ones. I also found another store that sells Meizu devices, and they claim to provide 2 year warranty. I think they have both chinese and international versions: http://www.telekonorte.com/busca ... &submit_search= I think I'd buy it in Amazon, anyway. Thanks again! Greetings

Lukka12 replied at 2016-01-10 02:28 But I "think" that if its sold and shipped by Amazon, your pretty save to get the global/ international. Just like amazon UK Germany and France. Uh and as far as I know! Meizu gives only the one year warranty! The one year the EU law forces to give. I wonder where the 2 year warranty comes from. I hardly doubt Meizu will cover it.

ultrametric replied at 2016-01-09 22:02 The 2 year warranty comes from the seller. Every seller in the EU is compelled bay law to provide 2 years (at least) of warranty for the products or sevices they sell in european territory, from european territory.
