Try changing your cable and/or update google maps before connecting. It's known to cause problems while connecting.

What tipe i to try? Try using your phone with a different car for testing Android Auto. Do un think is a problem of flyme or another kind of problem? Then problem is related to Flyme. You can post this as a bug if re flashing the firmware with clear data ticked does not work
